For all of my life, I have loved being outside in the fresh air!

My parents built their gardens from scratch, planning the flowers, shrubs & trees which they would put in and where in the garden they would be situated. we spent many weekends visiting garden centres to buy rockery stone, paving, bricks and plants.

Then one day, they took over a garden centre and proceeded to then transform it, the way they had with their other gardens. It rubbed off on me, as you can imagine.

Suddenly I found myself topping, planting, watering and generally caring for all plants. I specialised in houseplants and created a few hundred hanging baskets each year!

I attended night school for flower arranging and then a full time course in floristy, going on to spend more than 15 years as a wedding florist.

I also attend a botanical art course and have continued to for over 16 years now

I just love flowers!

And now, love taking photos of nature, not only flowers and trees, but birds,butterflies and insects too!
